Penteo's innovative, patent-pending technology creates true 5.1 masters of stereo recordings less expensively and far faster than locating and remixing the original components. Our own new waveform cross-correlation process, essentially reverse-engineers a stereo sound mix. After separation, the audio is simply unfolded into the corresponding positions within a 5.1 field. The process is non-destructive and is completely downward-compatible to stereo.
